Это было уже после того, как его призвали в армию Колчака, Александра Васильевича. До этого он был офицером царской армии, а в офицерскую школу в Ораниенбауме к ним приезжал Романов, Николай II Александрович, со своим сыном Алексеем. Именно поэтому я оказался Алексеевичем. Но это был второй раз, когда дедушка видел Николая II. В первый раз он видел его еще рядовым во время смотра войск где-то под Варшавой. Где-то недалеко, кстати, и родились оба моих дедушки…
